Cool Kids
This is a group for Nottinghamshire families with a child with a disability between the ages of 5 and 13 years. The group meets one Saturday morning and two weekday evenings per month, in venues around the county; there are also day trips and activities during school holidays. The group exists to provide a forum for disabled children and to ensure that their views are heard in debates on topics they consider important to them. The group publishes a quarterly comic containing articles written, drawn or photographed by the children on themes chosen by the group.
