The Parent Partnership Service's aims
We aim to do the following
‘Parents hold key information and have a critical role to play in their children's education.' Code of Practice 2001.
Who the Parent Partnership Service works with
We work with the following people
We believe that all the people and groups we work with are partners – people with shared responsibilities, each bringing their own views and skills to the task ahead – making sure children with special educational needs receive a high quality education.
What the Parent Partnership Service Offers
We can offer you
Voluntary organisations and parent support groups play a vital role in providing services for families. We work closely with local and national groups to develop support networks for parents.
Parents and representatives of voluntary organisations are involved in managing and overseeing our work.
You can get copies of this leaflet in large print, in Braille, on tape and in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi (also on tape).
We are based in the voluntary sector and are supported by the Family Welfare Association and funded by Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council
